Press Box

HOLT Architects partnered with SUNY Cortland to transform the college’s aging two-story stadium press box into The Dragon’s Den—a modern, comfortable lounge that celebrates Cortland athletics. The renovation reimagines the facility as a vibrant gathering space, providing bi-directional views of both the White and Red Fields, along with a central lounge featuring soft seating and monitors broadcasting live events from the fields below.

A stepped second tier within the upper-level lounge accommodates a new concessions and café area, enhancing the spectator experience while maintaining full universal accessibility throughout the space.
