Professional Office Building Conversion

The Physician Office Building (POB) conversion has been a unique and challenging Core and Shell project. After performing a preliminary cost analysis, the design and construction management team determined the most cost-effective route to provide new patient care space was to transform an existing parking structure into an I-2 Healthcare Occupancy building with three floors of existing medical office practices above to remain in place.

The exterior shell was designed to coordinate with the material selections and color palette of existing hospital while still maintaining its own identity and engaging the public street presence. Once interior fit-out work is complete, the POB will be the new home for Women’s and Infant’s Services.
