HOLT Announces Three Leadership Promotions
HOLT is pleased to announce three leadership promotions. Historically the key to the firm’s success has been hiring the right people and maintaining a culture of high standards where our team members are challenged, respected, and allowed opportunities for professional growth.
Kelly Maher, AIA has been promoted to Principal Associate and will join HOLT’s senior leadership team that helps guide the firm. Kelly has been with the firm for 9 years and is not only an accomplished architect and project manager, she’s an excellent mentor to our staff, helping to guide our younger team members. As an architect, Kelly has a particular passion for designing behavioral health units and daycare facilities that center on healing and incorporate the latest research for best practices. When not at work, she enjoys biking with her husband Adam and their children.
Cate Blakemore, AIA has been promoted to Senior Associate. Cate has been with the firm for 13 years and has more than 20 years of experience. Cate is forward-thinking in her design solutions, enjoys the challenge of each project, and works with her team to integrate sustainable design solutions into all her projects. She’s a versatile architect who works in our higher education and healthcare markets. As a senior associate Cate will expand her role to help manage quality. In addition, she is completing the classes to become a NYS Certified Code Enforcement Official. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and hiking around Upstate New York with her husband, Todd.
Justin Hicks has been promoted to Associate. Justin has been with the firm for 6 years and is a key member of the housing and community team. He’s a talented architect and highly motivated project manager who brings his 19 years of experience to his role, works with clients to clearly communicate the designs, manages complicated approvals processes, and leads projects such as the Dalai Lama Library and Learning Center to successful completion. When not at work Justin enjoys spending time walking with his wife, Kelsey, and playing with their children.
