Cortland Infusion Clinic

Cayuga Medical Center sought to build a facility to provide cancer infusion treatments off-site to support their patients. HOLT worked with CMC to transform an empty outpatient clinic into a convenient three-bay infusion center for patients in the Cortland community.

The design and construction was completed on a fast-track schedule in order to open the facility as soon as possible. The waiting area features a custom ceiling design with a LED ring chandelier to provide a sense of elegance upon entering the small facility. The ceiling motif was repeated over the central nurse station to provide continuity throughout the space.

Floor-to-ceiling windows in each open infusion bay bring in daylight and views of nature. Each bay is also outfitted with radiant ceiling panels to maximize patient comfort. The interior uses warm wood tones and a calming color palette to provide a sense of serenity for patients and staff.
