With a growing enrollment and interest in careers requiring a solid foundation in the sciences, Broome Community College took possession of a new Natural Science Center.

The project started with an assessment of existing facilities scattered all over campus and the development of a program to facilitate the consolidation of Biology, Chemistry and Physical Sciences Labs, classrooms, and faculty offices into the new building. The complex will serve as a gateway and provide the College a new face to the public in its prominent location at the south edge of the campus facing the main access road. A contemporary design which melds architectural forms and materials already found on the campus with a new treatment gives the building a distinct and eye catching appearance.
